Testing

GCTC offers testing at two campus locations:

  1. Panter Building Room 208, located at our main campus
  2. Workforce & Economic Development (WED) Center located at 1614 E. 9th, Okmulgee (CAAT Building)

Our testing center offers over 100 certification assessments and assessment preparation materials that align with recognized industry standards.  Our assessments align to credentials that are required and/or valued by industry.

Our Center offers testing in the following areas:

  • Oklahoma Compentency Testing
  • Health & Professional Certifications
  • WorkKeys Skills Certification
  • Out of State Testing Services
  • Oklahoma Drivers License Permit (written)
  • Oklahoma Welding Certification 
  • Oklahoma Drivers License Testing

Adult Full-Time Programs Entrance Testing Requirements

To enable students to experience success in the career of their chosen area of training, Green Country Technology Center has established assessment benchmarks for each program available to adult students. Benchmarks directly relate to the Career Profiles set by ACT and WorkKeys.  The benchmarks include pretests in Applied Math, Workplace Documents, and Graphic Literacy within the WorkKeys curriculum. If a potential student needs to improve their score, remediation is available.

Testing opportunities are on Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 a.m. All testing must be scheduled in advance.
